Polyester prices are surprisingly bottoming out in China, over a rebound of crude oil prices fueling anticipations of higher prices later this year. Demand is however expected slowing down in July, which should limit any rise of polyester prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
