Polyester Fiber Prices in China, India and Pakistan (Weekly Report)

Polyester fiber prices have further surged in the last seven days in China and Pakistan triggering a new increase of spun polyester prices. PTA prices have continued surging but could now stop rising, which would mean the end of the polyester rally and a possible fall of fiber prices in September. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
