Polyester fiber prices could fall further in the coming period, over a jump in inventory levels at fiber plants in China. Demand remains very weak from processors still confronted with the consequences of the coronavirus outbreak. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fibers (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report includes a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China.
