The polyester market remains depressed in Asia, with prices falling further in the past seven days in Pakistan after sliding in China. Gross margins are declining from relatively high levels at polyester plants. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fibers (PSF) and the Polyester Filament Yarns (POY, DTY, FDY) in China, India, and Pakistan.
