Port Columbus passenger traffic up for sixth straight month in August

Passenger traffic at Port Columbus International Airport increased 3.3 percent to 540,593 in August, from 523,218 a year earlier, and marking six straight month of gains, according to the Columbus Regional Airport Authority . Through eight months of 2014, nearly 4.3 million passengers got on and off planes at the airport, up 2.4 percent from the same period of 2013, the agency's monthly report showed.
