With synchrophasors, SEL-735 Power Quality and Revenue Meter collects real-time measurements of electrical quantities. Synchrophasor data can be used to perform wide-area control, determine stability margins, detect islanding, record system-wide disturbances, and visualize dynamic system responses. When used as phasor measurement unit, SEL-735 provides synchrophasor data for frequency, phase, positive sequence components, 4 user-defined analog quantities, and 14 digital status bits.
