Power outage to affect central Minden-Gardnerville

NV Energy customers in Minden and Gardnerville have been notified that an outage is planned for 11 p.m. Wednesday. A power line in the neighborhood needs to be de-energized, so that a crew can move a section of the line farther away from a building that's being remodeled near Esmeralda Avenue and 4th Street in Minden, NVEnergy spokesman Karl Walquist said Tuesday.
