As 2-phase micro stepper motor platform, L-511 offers 2, 4, and 6 in. travel ranges and incremental motion as small as 0.02 µm for precision positioning. Recirculating ball bearings enable max load capacity of 22 lb and durability at repetitive cycle rates with velocities up to 45 mm/sec, and precision ball screw drive unit with 2 mm pitch is nested in stress-relieved aluminum base. Centrally located linear encoder provides 1 nm resolution if operated with MC Hydra controller.
