Used for navigation and motion-sensitive features in products such as smartphones, LSM303C eCompass module combines 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis magnetometer in 2 x 2 x 1 mm LGA package. Magnetic field sensor has full-scale magnetic field strength range of ±16 Gauss or ±1,600 microTesla, and accelerometer has selectable full-scale range of ±2, ±4, or ±8 g.
