It employs some 40,000 employees generating revenues of approximately 14 billion per year. A vacancy for a Prime Projects EEE Parts Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. The successful applicant will join the EEE Space Systems Support Team. You will be responsible for providing quality and expertise services for EEE Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical parts to the project team of a prime contractor. You will optimise the selection process of EEE parts and support the procurement with respect to the requirements, interfacing with all Airbus Defence Space actors involved in the EEE parts process. You will manage the external subcontractors in your domain and support the project team, interfacing with the final customer for all the EEE parts dossiers. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Defining EEE parts requirements applicable to the project, Consolidating EEE parts documents Declared Components Lists DCL, alerts, etc., Reviewing and approving subcontractors compliance with project requirements, Participating in or supporting project reviews, Approving the selection of components via the Part Approval Documents PADs of Justification Dossiers JDs, issued by subcontractors, Managing Parts Control Boards PCBs, assessing all EEE activities performed by subcontractors, with final customer representation, as required, Supporting Project Reviews and Approving NonConformance Reviews related to the EEE parts, Managing the application of EEE alerts by subcontractors, Assessing the EEE parts activities performed by subcontractors, Contributing to the Project reporting and management of EEE parts documentation. This role will involve some travel for business twice a month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent in Electronics or a related discipline, 3 years of experience which has given you technological knowledge of different EEE parts families, Ideally, knowledge of the space EEE parts market and the associated standards European and American, Experience in supply management is a real plus, Ideally, experience working with project organisations end customersprimessubcontractors, Good communication skills, Autonomy, Meticulous, Advanced level of English French would be a plus.
