Probe into chemical spill at Flintshire biotechnology site continues

The Health and Safety Executive say an investigation into a chemical spill at a Flintshire biotechnology site is still ongoing. Staff were evacuated and one worker had to spend the night in hospital following the incident at Albany Molecular Research Inc in Greenfield on the afternoon of December 9. A male employee in his 50s, along with three other staff, reported feeling dizzy and were taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd to be checked over before being released the following morning.
