A vacancy for a Procurement and Supply Chain Digitalisation Analyst mf has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Toulouse. You will join the Strategy and Performance department, and in particular the Procurement Supply Chain and Logistic department. This department generates each month around 1,2 mio data coming from 12 core SAP systems and about 20 other systems. You will analyse performance weaknesses, identify, propose and potentially steer improvement projects inside the procurement supply chain and logistic organisation. Furthermore, you will introduce new methodologies and approaches to develop analytical capabilities inside the supply chain. You will characterise the key performances for the supply chain and logistics area of Airbus DS, identify weaknesses and develop options for improvement with the goal of enhancing productivity and finding additional savings. The focus of the analysis will be set by the strategic framework of procurement on the one hand and direct impulses from the business or procurement strategy on the other. You will also develop the analytical capabilities of the Strategy and Performance department. In accordance with the strategy and priorities, your main tasks and responsibilities will include Deriving specific performance issues from the overall procurement supply chain and logistic business intelligence, Performing initial investigations and estimating improvement potential, In the case of improvement potential, developing an analysis concept, data model and metric to measure the associated performance in detail, Obtaining all data that belong to the data model and performing detailed analyses, Quantifying the improvement potential in appropriate terms e.g. savings, productivity increase and developing an improvement plan. If required, leading or supporting a followup improvement project, Establishing the lessons learnt for the particular investigation and deriving options for improvements in data structures, tools and analytical methods, Implementing new methodologies and approaches to manage the analytical tasks in supply chain and logistics as required, Benchmarking with competitors, yearly operative plan improvement directives, Timely monitoring of progress in improvement actions, Releasing the yearly improvement results, Generating and reporting publications on key figures and KPIs, communicating and training regarding improvement plans, problem solving group management. This role will involve some travel for business twice a month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Engineering degree level or equivalent, ideally in mathematicsstatistics 3 years of experience in data analysis and synthesis andor modelling, Experience in big database management SAP or equivalent Experience in structured and nonstructured database management and new business analytics software Tibco, Lumira, etc. Initial experience in project managementcoordination would be a plus, Creativity, Good communication skills, Autonomy and summarising and analytical skills, Team player, Ability to work in a multinational environment, Negotiation level of English and French andor German andor Spanish.
