Tasks and Responsibilities The work will be performed at the European Space Operations Centre ESOC in Darmstadt, Germany. The Product Assurance Engineer is responsible to perform the Product Assurance process in support to a specific team, major activities of the PA process performed are Planning and keeping uptodate the PA activities in support to the team Monitoring the compliance of the team to applicable standards and customer requirements Organising and conducting the management of anomalies and problems in each team Organising and conducting the management of configurations and changes within each team, including supporting configuration review meetings to process all change requests Definition and monitoring the implementation of the rules for document production by the team Maintaining documentation and risk management, as well as lessons learned process Configuring and maintaining the PA quality tools to specifically supports the missions. Supporting ground and spacecraft anomaly review meetings, tracking all decisions taken. Organising and conducting the Freeze in view of critical operations. Survey document production by the team and provide quality review of documents on request. Support critical operations and relevant simulations on console in coordination with Flight Operations Director. Qualifications and Experience Applicants should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant discipline and several years of experience in Product and Quality Assurance in the space industry. Furthermore, candidates are required to have following skills Fluency in English, both in speech and writing. Experience in activities applicable to spacecraft operations, especially in the field of problem management, configuration management, risk management and documentation management. Experience in Quality Management System QMS Able to work independently. Familiarity with operational environment, in particular the ESOC environment. The ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously.
