For our activities in ESOC, we are currently looking for a Product Assurance Safety Engineer. Main Responsibilities PA support for ESA missions Ensuring compliance to missions requirements and quality planning based on ECSS standard, through ground segment reviews and monitoring quality indicators, along different mission phases, reporting relevant findings and proposing and maintaining corrective actions Supporting problem management, participating to regular anomalies review boards Maintaining configuration management, ensured by regular configuration change board meetings and internal configuration inspections Maintaining documentation and risk management, as well as lessons learned process Supporting formal acceptance reviews of contractual deliverables Representing ESOC PA office. Other Tasks Support Dependability analyses according to mission requirements. Drive the collection of lessons learned. Support critical operations and relevant simulations on console Identify PA requirements and activities in accordance with customer requirements and Directorate policies Quality Management System. For each mission produce, maintain and monitor the execution of the PA Plan. Organise the process and tools for ground and spacecraft anomalies. Call and lead Anomaly Review Boards for ground and spacecraft anomalies. Overview the disposition of anomalies and problems and provide relevant reporting. Organise the process and tools for both the compliance and the nonconformances to customer requirements. Call and lead Management Review Boards for nonconformances against customer requirements. Overview the disposition of nonconformances. Organise the process and tools for the configuration of the ground segment. Produce, maintain and monitor the execution of the configuration management plan. Call and lead the Configuration Control Board for ground configuration changes. Overview the disposition of changes and provide relevant reporting. Organise the process and tools for the risk management process. Produce and maintain the risk management plan. Call for regular assessment of project risks and provide relevant reporting. Support critical operations and relevant simulations on console in coordination with Flight Operations Director. Organise the process for management of the project documentation. Perform quality review of project documentation. Perform dependability analyses as requested by customer requirements. Monitor compliance to dependability targets during operations. Organise the process and tools for the lessons learned process. Requirements The following are essential requirements for this post Candidates should have a Master Degree in a relevant field at least 4 years of Product Assurance experience in the space industry Good interpersonal skills. Good written and oral English. Ability to participate and chair meetings with multinational environment. Ability to work in a matrix oriented organization reporting to both Project PA responsible and the functional PA organization without continuous supervision.
