RHEA is currently recruiting a Program Officer STEM Education to support the The European Space Education Resource Office ESERO at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Maintain an updated map of the STEM curricula across ESA Member and Cooperating States. Create and maintain a database of latest results on STEM pedagogy, teaching methodologies, trends and statistics at national and European level. Continuously support the correct implementation of all ESERO contracts on a daily basis and ESAs activities related to the ESERO project e.g. organization of ESA ESERO workshops, regular progress meetings with the ESERO Offices, etc. Support the enlargement of the ESERO network to other Member States in particular supporting the proposal evaluation and the contract implementation phase. Maintain a thorough level of knowledge about all ESA Primary and Secondary education activities ESERO in particular including awarenessraising, teacher training and classroom support activities. Support the design and implementation of informal education projects and the strategic definition and implementation of projects addressing role modelling and gender issues. Support the outreach, promotion and dissemination of ESA primary and secondary education activities through appropriate channels and in compliance with ESA Education outreach guidelines propose ways to make ESA content accessible to education providers, in such a way that it can be adapted by them into their own particular delivery mechanisms. Support the evaluation of ESA Primary and Secondary Education activities ESERO in particular against Key Performance Indicators. Respond to the direct contacts and external requests from education partners and the European education community. Support in general the activities of the STEM Education and Outreach Unit. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University master or equivalent qualification Experience in STEM formal and informal education projects and activities, preferably at international level Experience in project management Fluent in English knowledge of another Member State language is an asset Good communication skills, verbal in public and during formal meetings and written Ability to autonomously manage hisher workload identifying priorities and strategic actions ability to cope with pressure, meet deadlines and deliver on time The following skills would be highly desirable Knowledge of ESA and the space sector How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
