Available with 90 kVA to 1 MVA outputs, RS Series offers External Drive option, which enables direct control of output in real-time via analog signal and allows power sources to be used in hardware-in-the-loop test systems. Delays are typically reduced to 100 µs, which is 1,000 times faster than delay time of controlling output via GPIB or LAN ports. With EXTD option, power sources can be used as high bandwidth amplifiers, while internal DSP continues to monitor output to ensure safe operation.
