HE Space is a successful international space company. For nearly 40 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a Programme Coordinator for University Student Activities to support our customer in the Netherlands. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the European Space Education Resource Office at ESAESTEC, you will have the following responsibilities Support the preparation and the publication of the Call for Proposals for the student experiments, the review and the evaluation of the proposals, and the experiments selection process Liaise with the partners andor with the organisations which are involved in the conduct of the student experiment programmes universities, space agencies, industries, or other associations, and ESA colleagues Liaise with the student teams involved in the experiment programmes, to ensure they receive the due financial or logistics support Coordinate the technical supervision of the experiment projects with the support of professional specialists from ESA and the other partners, as available, to ensure compliance to requirements, applicable standards, and good space engineering practice Supervise the preparation and conduct of project meetings, project reviews, test campaigns, and of workshops or conferences Assist Young Graduate Trainees assigned to the programmes in subject. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree at least at MSc level in Space Systems Engineering, or equivalent Experience in the management of space projects ideally for sounding rocket stratospheric balloon experiments and small satellites Good coordination skills to effectively work on contributions from several different parties Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders ESA, the involved international partners, industry, academia and students Knowledge of the university student programmes conducted by ESAs Education Office is mandatory Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
