For Astrium Space Transportation in Bremen within the area Vehicle Engineering for the department Mechanical Engineering we are looking for a Project Engineer fm. As a Project Engineer mf you will work on the design, analysis, strength testing and qualifying of complex aerospace structures, e.g. upper stage and other primary structures. Develop load assumptions for structural analysis Perform load analysis for primary structures Create specifications for stage analysis and subcontractors Coordinate validation of load assumptions Take responsibility for predimensioning and verification analysis Perform statistical and dynamic structural analysis using finite element methods Create models from CAD data Catia using preprocessor programs Perform strength, stability, deformation, frequency and thermal stress FE analyses using NASTRANAbaqus Carry out postprocessing using PATRAN Independently carry out mechanical strength testing Interpret, document and present the results Prepare design proposals to achieve costrelated and functional targets Specify limiting conditions system aspects, manufacturing process, material selection Perform design and analysis to achieve targets We are looking for candidates with the following skills University degree in engineering aerospace or similar Project experience preferably in the aerospace domain Familiarity with NASTRANPATRAN Language skills English and German to businessnegotiation level are essential, and French would be an advantage TO APPLY click here
