Immediate commencement of employment in the Predevelopment Space System Studies department Project Manager for Science Missions mf Your Tasks Overall technical and programmatic management and coordination of proposals for small, medium and large scientific missions space segment for international customers Overall technical and programmatic management of international teams, coordination of the interfaces and definition of scientific missions and systems System Engineering and design of satellite mission and system concepts, analysis and specification of the system and its subsystems Coordination of and support to the preparation and implementation of scientific missions Your qualifications Degree in Aerospace Engineering Sound background and relevant experience with institutional science missions and space science projects is mandatory Detailed knowledge of mission analysis, mission and system definition and design, system engineering and science applications Experience of at least five years in relevant science projects spacecraft or instrument Proven experiences in project management of institutional projects with international teams, according to applicable standards ECSS Accustomed to work in teams and to keep a tight schedule Good conceptual and analytical skills Excellent communication skills, decisiveness, strong sense of responsibility Fluency in spoken and written Business English, German would be an asset We would like to let you know that we provide our applicants with an online application system.
