For permanent employment the Reconnaissance Ground Systems department at OHB Digital Connect GmbH in Bremen is looking for a Proposal Manager Satellite Ground Systems mfd The team Future Programs for Satellite Ground Systems takes care of all proposal activities related to ground segments of space systems. Our key competence is in the area of the flight operation segments for different types of missions like reconnaissance or satellite communication. It also includes the payload data ground segments composed of a processing infrastructure in a cloud environment and algorithms. The context of our work reaches from different types of space segment LEO to GEO, micro to large satellites to ground station and antenna technology. Your Tasks Your activities will range from developing future project ideas and business cases to managing and writing proposals. Some example are Definition of concepts for products, services and complete ground segments Creating a network of contacts to customers, potential scientific and industrial partners, colleagues within the whole OHB Group Contributing to studies, RD projects, space system proposals technical and commercial Your main responsibilities will be promoting and managing proposal projects by Preparing activities like scouting for opportunities, identifying and initiating RD, industrial teaming, budget allocation to tasks Coordinating the creation and writing parts of technical proposals, management proposals, implementation proposals, service proposals Your Qualifications University degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Information Technology or a related engineering area At least first, preferably profound, professional experience in one of the following areas system engineering, software development, space system operations, project management, business development Capability to present in front of customers and colleagues Motivation to do what is needed to get things done Ability to work independently to gather knowledge and skills required Ability to work in a team and collaborate with team members Fluency in spoken English and professional in writing B2, preferably fluency in spoken German and professional in writing B2
