ASHRAE/ACCA Standard 211P, Standard for Commercial Building Energy Audits, intends to bring order to energy audit industry. Open for public comment until January 4, 2016, this standard from ASHRAE and the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) will define procedures for performing Energy Audits Levels 1, 2 and 3; provide common scope of work for said audit levels for users; establish standardized industry practices; and establish minimum reporting requirements for results.
