Publix sets Oct. 9 opening for Huntersville store

Publix Super Markets Inc. will open its Huntersville store at 7 a.m. on Oct. 9. The Lakeland, Fla.-based grocery began stocking non-food items such as housewares and health-and-beauty products at that location on Monday, says Kim Reynolds, spokeswoman.
