Pulaski Furniture Company, a long-time mainstay of the economy in the New River Valley before closing its manufacturing facility doors in April 2007, has a new corporate owner. Home Meridian International Inc. of High Point, N.C., which acquired Pulaski Furniture almost a decade ago, has been acquired by Hooker Furniture, which is based in Martinsville.
