Unit is optically coupled to SMF fiber pigtail and includes thermoelectric cooler and electrically isolated temperature sensing thermistor. Housed in 14-pin butterfly package with industry-standard pin-out, module operates from 0–65°C with threshold current of 70 mA and typical forward voltage of 2–3 V.
