Operating at 1,550 nm, Model SCW 1532-500R is suited for optical spectrum analyzers and optimal time domain reflectometers. Unit is optically coupled to SMF fiber pigtail and includes thermoelectric cooler and electrically isolated temperature sensing thermistor. Housed in 14-pin butterfly package with industry-standard pin-out, module operates from 0–65°C with threshold current of 70 mA and typical forward voltage of 2–3 V.
