Qantas injects another $55 million into Jetstar Japan

Qantas Airways has injected cash into its loss-making Jetstar Japan venture for the second time in less than two months, with the latest 5 billion commitment boosting its total investment in the carrier to $215 million. Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said Jetstar Japan was expected to be profitable in the 2016-17 financial year, although he did not say whether further funding could be required before then.
