Currently working in an advanced technology sector with a background in quality assurance and process definition? Take advantage of this opportunity to join Europes prestigious Meteorological Satellite Organisation based in Darmstadt, Germany. The key candidate will be responsible for establishing QA Requirements and for checking their implementation in activities and projects across the division. All candidates shall have relevant experience in aerospace systems or other advanced technology sectors quality assurance and in process definition and assessment along with a good knowledge and practice of the ISO 9000 and ECSSEN standards series. Previous experience in systemsoftware engineering would be considered advantageous. Candidates shall have good interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and integrate with rest of the team, ensuring correct implementation of QA processes, monitoring their effectiveness and reporting on any relevant findings, gaps and issues. Candidates require a university degree in Computer Science or Engineering along with a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written. The initial contract is for a 4 year period with subsequent 5 year contracts being awarded thereafter based on individual performance. All applicants must be EUMETSAT member state nationals.
