Quality Assurance Manager mf Ref TEC0041 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES TechCom Category Operational Excellence Position Staff Context SES TechCom Services S.A. is a Luxembourgbased subsidiary of SES. Levering on the technical expertise accumulated within the Group by operating satellites for more than 20 years, it provides technical services to the Satellite Industry on a worldwide basis. Responsibilities Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will directly report to the SES ASTRA TechCom VP, Operations Customer Services. You will be responsible of the ISO 90012008 certified Quality Assurance System. In that respect, you will not only be in charge of maintaining but also continuously improving the internal processes. You will also be involved in proposal preparations and contract realisations by addressing Quality Assurance aspects. You are expected to work together with various Engineering and Operations divisions. Throughout proposalproject lifecycles, you will interface both customers as well as suppliers. ExperiencesQualifications Have an engineering university degree in Telecommunications, Physics, Mechanics or equivalent Minimum 5 years Quality ManagementAssurance experience preferably in the Satellite OperationsTelecommunications Industry Deep knowledge of ISO Quality standards acquired either through a successful company Quality Management certification experience or through permanent and dedicated management of Quality Management tasks within an organisation Experience in the Quality Assurance assistance of projects ideally in the frame of European Space Agency programs Effective communication and persuasion skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and readiness to travel Have the skills to support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in cooperation with engineeringoperations personnel Analytical sense, selfstarting qualities, coordination and priority setting abilities Computer literate WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, MS PROJECT Languages English, German andor French, any other language considered as an asset This position reports to VP, Operations Customers Services Our Offer An interesting and challenging job in an entrepreneurial organisation issued from a World leader in satellite communications.
