JOB PURPOSE This role requires the maintenance, management and continual improvement of the CDE Quality Management System QMS in compliance to the requirements of ISO90012008 and specific requirements as defined within the European Corporation for Space Standardization ECSS standards KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ISO 9001 Certification Define and execute actions to maintain certification to ISO 90012008 certification and satisfy customer quality management system requirements Work with key stakeholders to map and document key processes Impart relevant training to instill and drive ISO 9001 awareness Work with external registrars to plan and execute onsite certificationManage Space electronics contracts in excess of 1m Governance and Continual Improvement Drive the culture of quality within the business by planning and conducting internal management system audits Provide effective management of the business project and process audits Ensure quality KPIs are set and achieved Responsible for CAPA process including ensuring continued adherence to process, tracking and completion of resulting actions and ongoing maintenance of associated procedures Schedule and manage the Management Review meetings with the Senior Management Team SMT including preparation and circulation of supporting materials, generating supporting minutes and documenting and communicating to all stakeholders any resulting actions, ensuring that these are delivered in line with agreed dates Deploy QMS activities for successful continual assessment audits and recertifications by registrars. Proactive engagement with the functional disciplines of the business in maintaining updating core company policies, processes and procedures. DESIRED SKILLSEXPERIENCE Essential Minimum 5 years industrial experience in aerospace or space sector, with 3 years within QMS deployment Certified ISO 90012008 Lead Auditor Experienced in process mapping redesign Competent user of MS Office, Project and Visio Experience of working with crossfunctional teams Desirable Educated to degree level or equivalent Professional Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal Excellent soft skills especially communication, influencing, people and relationship management Organizational awareness and sensitivity for cultural differences Excellent analytical abilities and ability to grasp key points from complicated details Result driven and a selfstarter with the ability to work to own initiative A team player and proven delivery record with experience of working with peers and senior management
