Questar, Piceance joint venture could grow to 300 wells

Piceance Energy and Questar Corp. have agreed to a joint venture to drill 80 natural gas wells in the Collbran area of Mesa County in a deal that could grow to 300 wells. According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel , the agreement provides promise for the immediate future of drilling in northwestern Colorado's Piceance Basin, where activity has fallen off due to low commodity prices.
