Primarily, the group focuses on RD, Design Services and Product Development for Aerospace, Defence, Telecommunications and Scientific markets. There is a rich pedigree of Product Development in Antenna, RF and Modem design for different Satcom Terrestrial Systems. The team here at Celestia Technologies Group UK Ltd have embarked on a challenging programme to design innovative technologies for High Throughput Satellite communication system. Part of this includes the wellpublicised large contract with the European Space Agency ESA to develop a fully electronic scanning ground station, capable of tracking and communicating simultaneously with multi satellites. A broad range of technical domains are being worked on including Antenna, RF, Signal Processing, Beamforming, Digital Design and Realtime Software. Given the increasing needs, we are keen to expand our team and hire highly motivated, capable engineers with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to tackle the seemingly impossible design requirements. Role Responsibilities Generate new topologies and architectures to achieve very challenging system requirements Create floorplanning of entire layout and assist in onchip layout Create design and specification of onchip blocks such as LNA, phase shifters, updown conversion, modulatorsdemodulators mixers, variable gain amplifiers, LO chains, Baluns, baseband filters, RF switches, attenuators, summing amplifiers and biasing circuits Evaluate the designed onchip circuits in the lab either in hand or automated measurements Discuss block and system performance with System Engineers Prepare and participate in design, spec and layout reviews Take ownership of your tasks plan and execute in line with project needs Document and disseminate your works in line with project wide expectation Report to Technical Project Manager Skills, Knowledge Experience 5 years commercial experience designing RF solutions and key blocks such as phase shifters, analogue filters, mixers, LNA, PA, Synthesizers Handson experience in the design of complex chips e.g. transceivers, wireless sensors, PLLs or convertors Familiar with wellknown RFIC design tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso and Assura as well as ADS and SystemVue from Keysight Familiar with standard CMOS, SOI, SiGe, GaAS, GaN and BiCMOS technologies Understanding limitations and solutions of practical RF circuits and packages e.g., coupling effects, isolation requirements, track and substrate loses, antenna feed calibration, signal loss at interfaces etc. Familiar with lab test setups using signal analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, digital oscilloscopes, power meters, etc. Proficient in MS Office tools and competent working on either Windows or Linux Masters or PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar Please clarify if you require any PermitVisa to work in the UK.
