RSS16 comes in magnetic latching variation with special actuator that provides latching force of ~9 lb (40 N) and allows switch to be used as door stop for small- to medium-sized safety guards. Due to integrated dual monitoring microprocessor, only one switch is required to meet PLe per ISO 13849-1 and SIL3 per IEC 62061. Serial diagnostics and individual coding of actuators are optional features, and applications include safety circuits of hinged, sliding, or removable safety guards.
