At 69th Annual RIA Convention and Industry Expo, Restoration Industry Association (RIA) awarded 2014 Golden Quill award to Chuck Violand of Violand Management Associates for his 2-part article, "Overcoming Stage II Stall." In response, Violand said he was "truly honored" and that he appreciated the award as well as "the opportunity to help build strong, successful businesses in our industry." Golden Quill will be renamed "Patricia L. Harman Golden Quill Award" beginning in 2015.
