(Telecompaper) Canadian smartphone maker Research In Motion will offer movies at its BlackBerry World store on the same day they are released on DVD and will offer next-day availability on many current TV series. The unified multimedia storefront formerly called BlackBerry App World was recently rebranded to reflect its offer of more than just apps. Music from all major labels will be available for download and streaming in 18 countries at launch. Video downloads and rentals from major studios and independents will be available in Canada, the US and UK initially.
