RPT-Fitch rates Stanley Black & Decker's proposed jr. subordinated debentures & equity units 'BBB'

The company expects the equity units will initially consist of $300 million principal amount of junior subordinated notes due 2018 and contracts to purchase, for an aggregate of $300 million, shares of the company's common stock.
