Housed in 4U military-specified chassis constructed using heavy-duty wrought aluminum extrusions, Talon® RTX Series provides aggregate recording rates up to 5 GBps. QuickPac™ canister allows storage drives to be removed and replaced in field. Each canister holds 8 SSDs, providing 7.68 TB of storage. Up to 4 QuickPac canisters can be installed in chassis for over 30 TB of total storage. In addition to forced air cooling system, recorders include 600 W, 85–264 V, 47–400 Hz AC power supply.
