Range Resources agrees to fine, promises to fund environmental project

To settle charges that didn't accurately record how much water it was withdrawing from various waterways and that it was taking more than it was allowed, Range Resources Corp. has agreed to pay an $800,000 fine, plus fund a mine reclamation project.
