Range Resources inks lease to drill in park

Range Resources Corp. and Allegheny County have signed a lease enabling the energy company to drill for natural gas under Deer Lakes Park, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Allegheny County received $4.7 million in bonus payments and 20 percent of a $3 million parks improvement fund.
