Massena's and St. Lawrence County's real estate market is likely to become even more of a buyers' market with the reduction of nearly 500 jobs at Alcoa, according to the executive officer of the St. Lawrence County Board of Realtors. Although a search of residential homes for sale in Massena alone came up with 246 matches, Mr. Evans said the impact of Alcoa's decision is felt beyond Massena.
