Recycled Polyester Prices in China (Monthly Report)

Recycled polyester prices could now climb above virgin fiber prices in China, where the price difference has fallen in the last weeks. Shortages of PET flakes and a surge in demand may boost material costs of brands having promised they will use more recycled fibers in the coming years. Our report covers the recycled polyester PSF and POY prices in China over the past three years. Re-PSF and Re-POY prices are compared with similar virgin fiber prices for PSF and POY prices. Weekly prices, as well as indices over 3-month and 4-year periods, are available for download.
