Renesas Electronics Corporation , a premier provider of advanced semiconductor solutions, today announced the launch of the third generation of its market leading orthogonal frequency division multiplexing powerline communication modem solution. The new solution is based on a modem system-on-chip , the R9A06G037, integrating a high-performance digital signal processor and large-capacity SRAM, which realizes drastic improvement in communication software processing performance.
