BusinessGreen: Shares in troubled Chinese solar manufacturer Suntech Power leapt 28 per cent yesterday on unconfirmed reports that US billionaire Warren Buffett was considering a bid for the company.
Citing an unidentified source, a news service owned by Hong Kong Economic Times reported that Buffett's MidAmerican Energy Holdings was mulling an acquisition of the manufacturer.
