Starlab is a private company based in Barcelona, Spain, providing RD solutions and services to a wide range of institutional and private customers www.starlab.es. Several ESA, EU, national and private projects are currently being conducted within the Space Engineering Business Unit Starlab Consulting Division, which aims at bridging the gap between research and society through the development of novel solutions. The enthusiastic candidate we are looking for will act as researcher and technical project manager of several activities dedicated to the development of the RD areas of the Space Engineering Business Unit, especially in the RADAR Systems account, as well as, in perspective, to project management activities. He or she will be strongly involved at the bidding stage in the preparation of proposals in response to customer invitations to tender and requests for quotations. The candidate must be a problemkiller and team player, able to work efficiently, proactively and with highquality, given the constraints of time and resources availability of each specific activity. Key Requirements MSc or PhD in either Electronic Engineer Remote Sensing Aerospace Telecommunications Physics Detailed knowledge of SAR principles and data processing with, at least, 3 years of relevant experience Knowledge of SAR interferometry principles and data processing Very good experience in Software Development C, Idl, Matlab, Python, shellscripts Fluent in English spoken and written Additional Skills Experienced in proposal writing Experienced in project management Knowledge of GNSS principles Knowledge of multispectral, high resolution optical remote sensing Knowledge of satellite altimetry principles Good knowledge Spanish or Catalan Qualities Transparent and honest Cooperative and team player Openminded and good communicator Well organized and with a cando attitude Self motivated, reliable and responsible Able to handle tasks with a multiscale approach, adopting synoptic view and focusing on details at the same time
