Walter A. Dods Jr., retired First Hawaiian Bank CEO and chairman of the board, is joining the board of Par Petroleum Corp., which recently bought Hawaii-based Mid-Pac Petroleum. Walter A. Dods Jr., retired CEO and chairman of Hawaii's largest bank, has been appointed to the board of directors for Houston-based Par Petroleum Corp., which recently purchased the Honolulu-based parent of Mid-Pac Petroleum .
