Mark Retzloff , who co-founded the original chain of Alfalfa's natural grocers and resurrected the company four years ago, has stepped down as chairman and CEO. James Searcy , who helped orchestra the return of Alfalfa's in 2010, will serve as interim CEO and chairman.
