Building upon parametric modeling paradigm of SolidWorks, Point2CAD v2.1 allows users of Faro, Romer, Microscribe, and Baces3D articulating arms to create parametric solid models from physical parts. Version 2.1 provides sketching algorithms, repeatable cross-sections, probe compensation methods, and deviation functionality. With measurement module, users can check and record distances, angles, perimeters, and area as well as perform volume calculations based on various interactions.
