Incorporating 6-axis Fanuc M-20iA robot rigidly mounted on pedestal inside 60 x 96 in. rotary table blasting cabinet, Robotic Grit-Blast System automatically changes between blasting tools to perform critical surface preparation work around exterior of complex-shaped components, as well as recesses and interior surfaces of parts. Turntable, bearing interchangeable component-holding fixture, is servomotor driven and controlled as seventh axis of coordinated robotic motion.
