In a joint effort, Rohde Schwarz and Elektrobit have successfully completed the very first tests for LTE-capable high-power user equipment (HPUE) intended for Band 14 public safety networks. In the US, the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) plans to deploy, maintain and service a nationwide LTE-based network for first responders such as police, firefighters and emergency medical services. <br />
