(Telecompaper) Finnish mobile game developer Rovio Entertainment, creator of Angry Birds, doubled revenues to EUR 152.2 million and increased EBIT 64 percent to EUR 76.8 million in 2012. Rovio saw healthy growth in its games and consumer products units, with the latter growing threefold. Robio also saw good progress in entertainment. Rovio made a EUR 55.5 million net profit last year, up on EUR 35.4 million in 2011. The sale of new devices and content remain the main drivers for mobile games and viewers of the Angry Birds Toons channel.
