Supplied in 8 NSOIC and 14 NSOIC packages, XR3080-88X series supports data rates up to 20 Mbps in full or half duplex configurations. Analog bus pins withstand direct shorts to ±18 V and are protected from ESD events beyond ±15 kV. Profibus-compliant output drivers afford additional noise margin or extended cable lengths. Operating from +4.5 to +5.5 V supply, these 1-driver/1-receiver RS-485 devices draw <600 mA from +5.0 V supply and 300 mA typ when idling with receivers active.
