Russian car sales slumped 38 percent in May, a fifth month of declines, as the government employed measures to help the industry amid a deepening economic contraction. Sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles dropped to 125,801 units last month from 201,487 a year ago, the Association of European Businesses in Russia said Monday in a statement .
